Packing for the Road - Ugh !
It’s always crazy going on the road. The day we leave it’s insane. I have to get everybody’s everything ready for the trip. Each person has different needs.
Jonah: Diapers, bottles, wipes, onsies, blankets, pillow, stuffed animals, sun block, bibs, etc.
Noah: shorts, shirts, underpants, diapers, blanets, toys, shoes, swim clothes, DVDs, etc.
Husband: Wash shorts, crew shirts, t-shirts, socks, etc
Myself? I always manage to forget something for myself. Needless to say it’s a bit frantic until we get to the bus, unpack everything, settle the boys down. THEN I can take a deep breath and relax. We are now headed to Northeast to do shows and spend time with my family over the Holiday. I look so forward to seeing my family. (The crazy Italians, I call them). They are so loving. They treat me, my husband and children so well. It will be great to just “be” with them for a bit.
Our next trip is out West. It’s a long one. There will be tons to pack and a lot of prep work. We may see some of my husbands family while out there. The Browns, whom we love to pieces. His Cousin and hopefully his aunt Lydia, who stood in for his mother at our wedding. We really want her to see the boys. She has always been so kind. We adore her.
So, it’s a summer of touring and getting caught up with family. It will be such fun. The packing, though, Ugh!
