Children’s Tylenol
We came in off the road yesterday. Both boys are sick. I think they are run down, from lack of sleep. They both get excited being around the band and crew guys all day. Meeting new people in new places. It’s hard for them to rest.
This day and age we have a lot of alternatives to give our kids when they’re sick. Fever reducer, I give them Children’s Tylenol. The makers of Children’s Tylenol are brilliant for adding such flavors as cherry and grape to their medicine. Or, are they ? Jonah, he doesn’t spit it out. I can get the medacine in him without a fight. Noah? Well, he treats it like a “treat”. Last night when he took it, he asked for more. This morning, he sat on the couch and sipped it like it was a soft drink. I had to wait a full 5 minutes while “nursed” his drink before I could get the little measuring cup that comes with medecine back from him.
So, to the makers of Children’s Tylenol, maybe it shouldn’t taste soooo good. Possibly add a touch of bitter to it so I won’t have to wait so long to get the lid back.
