Back at It
Well. we are home from the craziest part of touring season. Home and getting back into a regular schedule. School started yesterday for Noah. He had a half day and another half day today. They start full days tomorrow. We started, last week, getting him back on the school year sleep schedule. So far so good. Jonah is doing pretty good, too. He’s been going to sleep around 7PM and sleeping until 4am. I realize if someone told me a year ago that sleeping until 4am is awesome, I never would have believed them. But, sleeping until 4am uninterrupted feels pretty good right now.
So, back to rising early, cooking breakfast, making lunches, car line, clothes labeling, parent meetings, fundraising, etc. As crazy as it sounds, it’s actually back to normal. Noah does really good with the structure of the school year. I think most kids do. I look forward to him coming home, everyday with a new story about something he’s learned. The rides to and from school when we chat are one of my favorite parts of the day.
So, school is back in session and we’re back at it
