Too Many Toys

We came up with, “if your toys are not put away, we will have to give them to kids that need them”.  This is harsh. However, if you saw how many pieces there are to each toy that Noah has, you’d get it. Noah has a cooking set toy that had 12 pieces. Thank heavens we are down to about 3 pieces now. We threw out the other 9 pieces. He doesn’t even miss them.  We are going to give the remaining pieces to Noahs friends (who are sisters) that will be visiting us later today.  So, if you take that toy, multiply that times 10 ? You’re always stepping on or tripping over something.

Every toy that Noah has, has a place.  He has a little cabinet of bins.   There are 6 bins total.  When they get full, we thin out the toys.  I think that too many choices effects his ability to focus.  Plus, there’s no appreciation for anything. There’s a few toys that he loves.  Like, the ones the Browns gave him.  He and Jason Brown are buddies.  Oh, and a couple my Dad gave him  (Noah with Jason Brown)

Other than that, he has no real attachment.  They’re just a mess.  ;-)
