Noah is always in Jonahs face.  He pulls his legs, kisses his belly, flicks his feet.  This poor child is going to be tough as nails.  He’s going to have to be to survive his older brother.  

As many of you know, Noah loves to play drums.  When we’re on the road, Marshall teaches him little grooves.  Santa brought him his own drum set last Christmas.  Everyday we’re home he plays them.  Besides playing his drums, he’ll bang out a beat on the couch or coffee table.  Whatever he can find.  Also, everything he sees is a drumstick.  Sticks from the trees, rulers, pencils, and today Carrots.  He went to the garden with his father and picked some very large carrots.

When he came into the house, Jonah was sitting in his stroller, in the TV room.  Noah took 2 carrots to use as drum sticks and started to play everything in the room.  The couch, the table and yes, his brothers feet.  I then heard myself say “Noah, please don’t play your brother.”  That made me kind of smile.  It truly is a phrase I never thought I’d say.
